Payment provider
Fee and net for every charge
Authorised through OAuth, Seamline reads charges, balance transactions, payouts and disputes, and matches them to store orders.
What is read
- Charges with amount captured, refunded amount and status
- Balance transactions carrying the fee and net of each charge
- Payouts with arrival date, method and status
- Disputes with amount, reason, status and response due date
Where it lands
- The balance transaction is the fee of record: gross, fee and net per charge
- Nets are totalled per currency and compared with paid-order totals
- Payout records explain the timing difference between an order and cash
- Dispute amounts and due dates attach to the order they came from
Rules fed by Stripe
These records drive the checks listed below, run per gateway and per currency.
- Payment fee rate above baseline
- Gateway effective fee rate rises above the 30-day volume-weighted baseline
- Order-vs-gateway reconciliation gap
- Shopify paid-order net amounts diverge from gateway transaction nets
- Dispute & chargeback spike
- Gateway disputes spike within a 7-day sliding window
Known limits
- Live and test mode are separate connections; test records never enter the profit tree
- Records are read 100 at a time and followed to the end of the window
- Disputes need a wider look-back window than charges to arrive complete
- A transaction that cannot be matched to an order is left out of reconciliation
